The Jaguar XK in all its many varieties is truly one of the greatest sportscars of any era and in 150S form still offers impressive performance by todays standards with a top speed nudging 140 mph. This 150 started life in Arkansas USA as a red LHD car in standard 3.4 form and was imported to the UK in the late 80s.

Although still in very sound condition in the mid nineties it went to a highly respected marque specialist for a full restoration including stripping the car and chassis back to bare metal, converting from LHD to RHD, repainting in Westminster Blue, retrimming in Mulberry leather with a navy blue roof and all chrome replaced or replated.

The car also had a full mechanical refurbishment with smypathetic upgrades including the gearbox being replaced with a getrag 5 speed unit, the brakes uprated, a new wiring loom and the engine being replaced with a rebuilt 3.8 on triple SUs to 150s specification. A photographic record with bills approaching £70,000 are included. It has had two UK owners and since the restoration has covered just under 20,000 miles, with a comprehensive Jaguar specialist history and old MOTs to support this.

The last owners looked at several 150s before buying this car on merits of its quality restoration and improved on road performance over a standard 150. They enjoyed many trips through England and Europe with total reliability and its only through ill health the car is now reluctantly for sale.

DSK 164 is still in fantastic condition today and offers genuine pace with grace for substantially less than a genuine 150S.
