The 204bhp SC is a pleasingly strong performer and a great compromise between the enduring charm of a classic 911 and the performance of true sports car. When new it could thunder past 60mph in 5.7 seconds, brisk enough to leave most of its comtemporaries in its wake and comfortably able to embarrass many a modern sports car.
This stunning manual coupe is a really genuine example, having covered just 62,000 miles from new with an excellent supporting history, spanning two large files and including every MoT certificate back to the first in 1986.
As a 1983 car it is one of the very last 1000 SC coupes produced.
The silver metallic coachwork presents beautifully and the interior is lovely and standard in original half black leatherette and berber tweed.
The wheels are 7" Fuchs all round, though the fronts could be replaced for the correct 6" items if required. Otherwise it is factory standard, from the stickers in the door shuts, right down to the radio.
The car has had just 6 keepers in total, the last two spanning 14 years and it drives as well as any we've come across.
It is sold with an interesting ageless '911' private plate, though could be reverted to the original number if preferred.
They don't come much more original or attractive than this.
