Paul Stephens has been a Porsche enthusiast all his life. He learned to drive at the age of six, had his first accident at the age of seven, and clocked his first 100mph run, in a 911, when he was just nine. He won his first championship in 1984 and by 21, had bought and restored his first 911, which he occasionally campaigned in the one-make Pirelli series: within a decade, he’d won his second championship and went on to race not only Porsche, but Caterham, Marcos and Chevron with several class and overall race wins, before retiring from racing (so he thought) in 2003. In 2013, he returned to the track at the Spa Classic in a 911ST, finishing third in class, competed in the Silverstone 24 Hours in 2015, again finishing third in class and competed in the Le Mans Classic in 2016, finishing 23rd overall and third 911 home in Plateau 4.
