LE MANS CLASSIC

THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS

The world’s oldest and most prestigious endurance sports car race, top of the wish list for every racing driver. A high-speed mix of technical circuit and closed public roads, a gruelling challenge for cars, teams and drivers alike.

While the Le Mans 24-Hours provides the history, the Le Mans Classic tells the story. Created by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and Peter Auto almost 20 years ago, the event has become a red letter day in the historic calendar - capturing the imagination of public, drivers and guardians of our marvellous automotive heritage.

Held biennially, the combined magic of blower Bentleys from the 30s, Ford GT40’s and Ferraris from the 60s, Alpines and of course Porsche from the 70s and 80s, plus many other famous marques all competing in one event, has ensured that like the Le Mans 24 Hour itself, the Le Mans Classic is a premier event in historic motorsport.
